Not much can unite sports fans from opposing teams, but one attendee at a Detroit Red Wings hockey game managed to do just that.
Two-year-old Mason stole the show when his angelic face appeared on the JumboTron. At the Joe Louis Arena, hockey enthusiasts from both teams would cheer loudly when the cameras panned to his face, and they would boo even louder when the cameraman changed subjects.
And when you watch the footage for yourself, can you really blame them?
So far, the heartwarming Facebook video has garnered more than half a million views and almost 8,000 shares.
Even though the Red Wings did end up winning the game, Mason enjoyed a victory, too. The toddler was named "honorary first star of the game."
